I am in NY visiting and my whole family was in town yesterday.  We were just sitting around being lazy when Kelsey realized one of the dogs had been gone for a while.  We searched the whole house, every cupboard, closet, and empty space.  Then we expanded the search to the neighborhood and surrounding area with no luck.  We started at 2 and kept it up until in was too dark and snowy to do anything.  This morning I woke up and was changing Dominic and getting him dressed and I kept hearing barks and was planning to go out and call for her.  Then my mother went into the cellar and could hear it too.  So we went into the backyard and could hear her in the pool.  So I started to crawl under the pool deck but couldn’t see her.  To make this very long story short she went under the pool deck and got stuck so we ripped the deck apart to get her out and as soon as we had a hole big enough she found her own way out. 

At least now I know that I can rip anything apart with a crowbar.

Happy Anniversary to us!  We went to Gatlinburg, TN for some fun filled snow days and got away for a whole weekend.  Pictures to come soon!

 

1.  Aero effects, you can see through all windows now and if you take a look at the bottom that’s actually a DVD that I’m ripping and it’s real time video playing in that thumbnail when you mouse over the application.

2.  Flip!  You can actually click on the screen you want to go to.  Bye bye alt+tab.

3. Nice new navigation and the RDP control panel is MUCH updated an the best I’ve seen ever.  It’s pretty damn customizeable.

4.  New backup system (no more ntbackup), a fully functional built in firewall (even with port exceptions) which means no more hacking up gpmc.msc or gpedit.msc, a brand new autoplay control panel, and best of all… Shadowcopy!
