Well, we should be updating here more oft but as it is we’ve been so entirely busy with the move and all sorts of fun stuff.

Long story short, we’re here in Raleigh, having a great time.  Caitlin has joined a Mom’s group here in town and I’m really enjoying my new job (well not so new now that I’ve been there over a month).

We went to New York for Thanksgiving and that went really well.  Only 9.5 hours up there, but over 13 back.  The drive back was quite interesting in the fact that we took a small detour through Gettysburg, which i was really excited about, but Dominic decided he had his own battles to fight on the battlefield.

Dominic vs. Milk and Pears in his stomach

It was a violent battle but the Poor kid lost it at the last minute in the backseat of the car.

We had to stop in town at the only place there to clean him up and make him feel better.  Just so happens the only place to stop was this little pizza shop, so when we stopped a little italian woman came running out handing us towels and brought Dominic inside the pizza place to clean him all up.  Then she gave him (for free!) a whole loaf of bread and a bottle of water and he was a happy camper.

So, Gettysburg was really cool, the whole 5 minutes we drove through it with a milk smelling car (poor kid, i felt so bad for him).  We then hit traffic in Richmond which delayed us -hours- but we finally made it home.

I’m going to the Carolina Hurricanes and Philadelphia Flyers hockey game tonight with the president of my company.  First hockey game ever for me!

Ok, more later.
